'Luz en el agua' is part of the CONFLUENCIA project, a route of 52 murals in the metropolitan region of Santiago de Chile. Inspired by a story called 'earth', by Juan Arturo Benavides, it talks about recovering the river, the earth and its green lushness through its reflection, which is produced when the waves of light from the river, the earth and the green come into contact with the water and reflect them away from the surface, thus, the surface of the wall and its geometries will become the water that reflects, moves and shines. A new surface that not only speaks to us of recovering the land, but also of the past of the place, where, just as the waters of rivers converge to form a common riverbed, there, in the CESFAM Lucas Sierra, ancient inhabitants used to meet for their community meetings.
Project carried out together with Tiffany Whittaker, territorial designer and cultural manager based in Barcelona.
