Within the framework of the Expo d'ouf urban art festival in Nîmes, France, and on the occasion of its tenth edition, a comprehensive participatory painting project was carried out on the exterior facades of the Résidence Autonomie, a residence for the elderly in the center of the city.
We also posed two questions: What does a lighthouse mean to you? What does an elderly person mean to you? And what do they have in common?
With the results of the two exercises we carried out a project whose objective was to illuminate the building, recover its light and thus be able to contaminate the rest of the neighborhood. A facade rehabilitation project that went beyond the new coat of paint that the residence received.
